Jeremy Mhire is the Founder and Owner of Proximal Strength, a Springfield, MO-based gym dedicated to fitness, performance, and community. His life centers on his faith in Christ and his family—wife Jenny of 23 years and their two children, Vincent and Emille.

A Kickapoo High School alum, Jeremy played football and basketball before touring as a gold & platinum-selling artist with Plus One. He returned home in 2003, married his high school sweetheart, and earned a Sports Medicine degree from Missouri State in 2008.

For over 20 years, Jeremy has coached athletes of all levels, helping 40+ athletes from all across Southwest Missouri earn full collegiate athletic scholarships. He’s a five-time CrossFit Regionals qualifier (2009–2013), formerly ranked among the world’s Top 100 male athletes, earning athlete sponsorships with 1st Phorm and Lululemon.

He also founded the 1st Phorm Heart of America Team Competition and serves as an Honorary Coach for The Annual Bass Pro TOC.
